This webinar explored how two companies’ innovations in plastic manufacturing could help address the problem of persistent ocean plastics in different ways.

- Adam Lowry, Co-Founder and Chief Greenskeeper, Method Products Method has co-developed a polyethylene bottle made from mixed ocean plastic, which the company is bringing to market this year. Method developed the bottle specifically to help address the ocean trash problem and is seeking partnerships to ensure a sustainable stream of collected ocean plastic.
- Bob Engle, VP Biopolymers, Metabolix Metabolix’s Mirel bioplastic is fully biodegradable in seawater and other environments, and is already on the market in several products.
